I'm a huge fans of the old Datsun Fairlady Roadster, and earlier today i went to the interweb and found this. Look at that Trackday-Spec Fairlady Roadster!

Heres a vintage race prepped one. Its rough. He actually has three of them. And a Talbot Sunbeam. And a Manic GT. And a Bug eye Sprite. And six Triumphs. And three Moto Guzzis.

nice. I'm a fan of the roadsters, too. Should be my next vintage car acquisition (non-race spec), once life gives me permission (gonna be a while). That color combo, too: silver/pewter with tan leather.

Though I'll have to find one of the early 3-seat roadsters now that I have a bambino on the way.

His car is really awesome, since it has the whole underpinnings replaced with the underpinnings of Silvia S13, complete with SR20DET.

I saw one for sale quite far from my home, but because the condition is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally poor i didn't buy it.

I really want that thing, but i guess i'll wait for the S660 first.

Well that I don't like. I am not in favor of retro modding classics. My 240Z has matching numbers, I added a 5 speed for a slightly newer Z and triple carbs. I will add disks for the rear for safety but the brackets don't alter the vehicle.

Well, the problem was, when he got his datsun it was so terrible that the whole engine had some kind of plants growing in it, and the chassis is barely a chassis anymore.

Then he tries to find all OEM equipments for the Datsun, like Suspensions, engines, steering rack, etc. But since that's very very rare he decide to fuck it and replace everything with Silvia S13 parts instead.
